Poetry: “It’s tough being a teen” (a work in progress)

It’s tough being a teen.

When all the other kids are mean

And it’s not easy staying clean

You can’t stand up to the college dean

You look a lot like Mr. Bean

And you have to hide that you are green

When you eat it’s hard to stay lean

A lot of times you don’t want to be seen

And of childhood habits

You don’t want to wean.
